  • My Cozy Co It is not a secret that I’m a big fan of Laura’s patterns. I think they are very professionally done, well explained, with fantastic pictures with the step by step. Laura guides you through the process not only in a technical way but also in a easy and understandable language. Besides, as I have said before, the fitting is spot on and during the testing she always makes sure that every detail is covered to create a superb product.

Yo soy una fiel admiradora de estos patrones, no solo porque son diseños muy cómodos, sino que además son muy bien explicados y muy profesionales.

  • Paisley Roots There are some designers that I absolutely adore. Titchy Threads is one of them. The fit of her patterns is incredible and I love how professional every item turns out. I have every single one of her patterns and they are my staple items for my kids wardrobes.

  • Huisje Boompje Boefjes As in all the Titchy Threads patterns, the steps are well explained with lots of pictures. The instructions also come with a cheat sheet for the more advanced levels and a good measurements table and tips for adjusting sizes, so you can make your kids the exact size they need. Oh and let's not forget the possibility of printing just the size layer you need, love that!

  • Sew Outnumbered I’ve made up quite a variety of indie kids patterns over the years and in my opinion few match the quality of design, fit and instructions that I find with Titchy Threads.

  • Sew Shelly Sew It’s no surprise to me that this is an AMAZING top-notch pattern, since I have previously made The Hawthorn Zip-Up Sweatshirt and the Small Fry Skinny Jeans by Titchy Threads and they are two of the best patterns I’ve ever made.

  • Miss Castelinhos Laura’s patterns are my favourite, so easy to follow and you can see the effort (and love) she has put into them, and also, she makes awesome clothes for boys!

The main feature on this pattern, is, of course, the twisted seams (so ingenious!). The side seams twist to the front and the inseams twist to the back of the trouser’s legs (whaaaaat??!). It really blew my mind when I finished sewing and saw the result! But there’s other features. It comes with slant front pockets, back pockets and even a little coin pocket. You can add piping to the seams and they’ll look even better! And also, you can make them reversible! So, so cool!

  • La Folie As all of Laura’s patterns you’ll find perfect pattern pieces plus an excellent tutorial, lots of details (front pockets, faux fly, coin pocket, back pockets, back yoke and more) great options like pipping if you want to bring more focus to the twisted seam, and you can even make them fully reversible. Talk about cool stuff!!

  • Made By Toya These patterns are definitely designed with how children look in mind, but far more importantly they are designed with what children like to do in mind too.

  • Behind The Hedgerow It was no surprise to me that these trousers were a joy to sew. Laura explains each step in the perfect amount of detail. She even takes the time to add a ‘cheat sheet’ for those who just want a basic version of instructions – you know, for when you’re making your sixth pair (because this pattern just begs to be made again and again with different features).

  • Sutures and Sandpaper The Twisted Trousers... What can I say? They are well drafted, the sizing is accurate using the measurement chart, there are options (don't we love those), good size range and they can be a quick sew.

  • Max California Her patterns are so professional and she was the first to use layered sizes. The instructions are always clear and my finished garments from her patterns are probably the most professional-looking pieces I have sewn.

Every step of the pattern has you sewing like you're a legit seamstress! Haha, it's true though. I usually love to whip up shorts and shirts that take minimal effort but when it comes to Titchy Thread Patterns I really appreciate the care and the time and the extra steps to take to turn out an amazing garment!
